Andy Russell

Ms. Andy is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, but has lived most of her life here in Charlotte. She worked in church nurseries, kept children in her home, and was a substitute here at Charlotte Montessori School before joining the staff full-time. She is looking forward to starting her twenty first year at Charlotte Montessori.

Ms. Andy and her husband of 31 years, Chuck, have two sons and one daughter – Matt, Casey, and Alex. They are now the proud Grandparents of five grandchildren.

Ms. Andy loves to garden and is an avid reader, mysteries are her favorite. Ms. Andy loves volunteer work when time allows. Over the years, she has worked at improving the lives of victims of Hurricane Katrina, and built homes for people in Harlan, Kentucky though Habitat for Humanity.

Ms. Andy has also earned her NCECC – North Carolina Early Childhood Credential.
