Janessa McGuire

Ms. Janessa is so excited to be starting her Montessori journey with the amazing team of professionals at the Charlotte Montessori School. She is originally from Bethlehem, PA and has her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science from Messiah College. She started her early childhood education career working part time in college as a floater and then accepted a full time position as a 4 year old preschool teacher at U-Gro Learning Centres. She moved to Charlotte in 2021 with her husband Matthew and began her career as a nanny. Janessa is very drawn to the Montessori world due to its philosophies of having respect for the child, fostering independence, and development of real-world skills.

In Janessa’s free time she is hanging out with her puppy Luna, watching a good movie, or trying out one of Charlotte’s many restaurants. Janessa is thrilled to be back in the classroom and can’t wait to learn and experience everything Montessori!
